Become His Man...
We seem to be constantly striving to devise new programs, new methods, new assignments, new schemes, new gimmicks to make the church grow in numbers.
We elevate plans, schemes, methods, organizations and assignments above men, women, boys, and girls. We shrink the man and he becomes lost in our plan for what we have tagged success. What we must remember is that man is God's method! - - Man is God's plan!
We search and strive for bigger and better churches, God is searching for better and bigger men.
Note this:
• "There was a man sent from God, whose name was John." The entire Christian system was ushered in, The Way prepared, by a man.
• "Unto us a child was born, unto us a son was given." Amazingly enough, our salvation came out of a cradle, grew, lived and died as a man.
God uses men and women who will be used by Him.
E. M. Bounds in his book "Power Through Prayer" writes: "What the church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more novel methods, but men whom the Holy Spirit can use. God does not work through gimmicks but through man, Earthen Vessels. "We have this treasure in jars of clay (Earthen Vessels) to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us" (2 Corinthians4.7).
Allow me to challenge you to submit... Total submission… Let God use you... Be His MAN! Amen?
