BecomeHis Man...
We seem to be constantly striving to devisenew programs, new methods, new assignment, new schemes, new gimmicks to makethe church grow in numbers.
We elevate plans, schemes, methods,organizations and assignments above men, women, boys, and girls. We shrink theman and he becomes lost in our plan for what we have tagged success. What wemust remember is that man is God's method! - - Man is God's plan!
We search and strive for bigger and betterchurches, God is searching for better and bigger men.
Notethis:
• "Therewas a man sent from God, whose name was John." The entire Christiansystem was ushered in, The Way prepared, by a man.
• "Untous a child was born, unto us a son was given." Amazingly enough, oursalvation came out of a cradle, grew, lived and died as a man.
God uses men and women who will be used byHim.
E. M. Bounds in his book "Power ThroughPrayer" writes: "What the church needs today is not more machinery orbetter, not new organizations or more novel methods, but men whom the HolySpirit can use. God does not work through gimmicks but through man, EarthenVessels. "We have this treasure in jars of clay (Earthen Vessels) to showthat this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us" (2 Corinthians4.7).
Allow me to challenge you to submit... Totalsubmission… Let God use you... Be His MAN!Amen?
