Outreach events play a crucial role in fostering a sense of community. By engaging in outreach, we can extend our reach beyond our church building, creating bridges with those who need to be shown God's love. These events promote building relationships with those in our community, breaking down barriers and fostering a spirit of unity. Outreach activities also offer an opportunity for personal growth, as individuals involved often develop a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment through acts of service and kindness. Ultimately, outreach events are important because they not only address the immediate needs of the community but also contribute to building a stronger, more compassionate church where everyone feels valued and supported. A few of our outreach activities include a monthly game night, the Lasagna Love ministry, our annual Women's Shelter Christmas Party, and our New Members dinner.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
MATTHEW 28:19-20
