What A Difference
I am told that near Lima, Ohio there is a barn which is so situated that if a drop of rain falls on the North side of its roof it may run down into a small stream which in turn flows into another stream, which in its turn flows into the Maumee River. The Maumee empties into Lake Erie, the waters of which travel finally into the St. Lawrence River, which flows a great distance into the Gulf of St. Lawrence (the Atlantic Ocean) between Southwest Canada and Newfoundland.
But if, on the other hand, that drop of water falls on the South side of the barn’s roof, it makes its way into the Miami River, which then flows into the Ohio River, which in its turn enters the great Mississippi, which enters the Gulf of Mexico hundreds of miles away.
So... What a vast difference a couple of inches can make! That drop of water may wind up over 2,000 miles in a different direction because of those two inches. And so it is with our
little decisions in life. Whether in some sexual situation, or some matter of honesty, or any ethical or spiritual consideration, the action we take can make incredible changes in our lives.
